Six in a Row!

Guess what! Mom and I have gone for walks around the pond now every day for six days in a row! That's unbelievable! It's been forever since we've gone for so many long walks like that.

I love the pond, but the weather's been cold and Mom hurt her back last year. She's been pretty busy with school, too. So we haven't been walking as much. Mom told me last week that we both need more exercise, though, and that we needed to start walking around the pond more. You won't hear me complaining!

We got a little wet today 'cause it was sprinkling when we started walking and just flat-out raining by the time we got home. It was still a fun walk, though. We had the pond all to ourselves!

Pictures from the Pond

Mom took me for a walk around the pond today! It was a nice, sun-shiny day, but the wind almost whooshed me right off of the sidewalk. It kept flipping my ears back, too. I loved sniffin' into the wind, though, so it was cool.

Here's a picture of me sniffin' a tree. Mom kept telling me that the branch was too tall for me to sniff, but I didn't care. She should just be happy I didn't try to pee that high.

And here's a cool shot of me lookin' at the pond while I'm wiping my feet. (This is how I usually try to fling stuff at Mom.)

And finally, we've got a nice, action shot of me walking along. Stupid leash is always in the way...

Before and After

Mom tricked me this morning. I thought we were going for a ride...and she took me to the GROOMER!!! I never go there in the morning, but that's what happened today. Mom usually takes me in the afternoon.

So I thought that maybe since Mom brought me home at lunch time that we'd get to spend the afternoon together. Wrong. She put me in my crate and hurried off to work. That just STINKS.

I'll leave it up to you, though, as to whether or not it was worth it. I'm posting "before" and "after" pictures here. Mom was calling me a shaggy beast this week. But now she says I'm at "optimum cuteness." If you ask me, I'm at optimum cuteness all the time!

Stink Pot

Mom's pretty tired today. She said that I kept waking her up last night. Apparently, I was tooting in my sleep! Must have been pretty stinky, 'cause Mom said it kept waking her up. That's absolutely hysterical in my opinion!

Fighting with Mom

Tonight I decided that I wanted to go to class with Mom. She didn't agree and actually refused to let me go. So, I tried to hide from her when she wanted to leave, and then I ran from her when she found me. Sadly, my plan was not successful. She caught me and put me in my crate anyway. Bummer!

I gave her my best "pitiful doggie" look when she left, though. At least that succeeded in making her feel bad about leaving me behind!

Going For A RIDE!

Mom took me for a ride tonight! That rocks. She never, ever lets me go for rides. Grandma Cindy takes me for rides all of the time when I go to her house. But not my Mom. I don't know what got into her tonight!

We went to the bank so that Mom could use the ATM. Then we went to another place where Mom made me stay in the car for a bit while she went inside and picked up a pizza. She wasn't gone very long, though, so I didn't even have time to get bored. After that we came home and went for a walk. What a great night!

The only downside of the night was that Mom made me wear my sweater. She said it was too cold for me to be in the car by myself without my sweater on. But then she had the heater going in the car and it got SO hot in there -- I was a panting fool! She was more worried about me freezing my hiney than being too hot, I guess.

Here's a picture of me in my sweater... I don't like to wear it, but I know it's just adorable on me. Of course, it helps that I'm so cute to begin with!

Two in a Row!

Mom and I walked around the pond AGAIN today! That just rocks. I love the pond. I really like Mom's stay-home days, too. She doesn't get those very often with school and work and stuff.

Anyway, I decided to not fling more mud on Mom today. Instead, I went with wet, icky leaves! he he he I didn't hit her with them, but I tried in a couple of different spots and I got pretty close. I don't think Mom really appreciated my efforts...
