Where Did She Go?

Buttons disappeared last night. She was sitting beside Mom on the couch...but when Mom said it was time to go night-night, Buttons just vanished. I wonder where she could have gone...


Buttons has been hiding under the bed every night. Last night she hid before she even made it to our bedroom!

Buttons's Bed

Buttons's doggie bed is the perfect size for her. She's an exact fit in there. Her bed would be too big for me. And a doggie bigger than Buttons sure wouldn't fit. But it's just the right size for my sister!


Sometimes it's even hard to see her in there 'cause her bed is the same color as her fur. Mom says she's camouflaged. I'm not sure what that means, but I'm guessing it means "cute."

Dog-Tired Doggie

Mom and I got back from our vacation last night, and I'm SO tired! I slept the entire way home in Aunt Katie's van and the rest of the way in Mom's car. Mom and I went night-night when we got home, and I didn't even wake her up this morning to take me out. I just waited for her to wake up herself.

We had so much fun on our vacation, though. It was really cool. We went shopping and we went on a walk in a big grassy place and we watched some alpacas. Fun stuff. But I'm happy to be home 'cause there's nothin' like sleepin' in your own doggie bed!

I'll tell you more about my vacation later. I need to go take a nap now...

Stink Pot

Mom's pretty tired today. She said that I kept waking her up last night. Apparently, I was tooting in my sleep! Must have been pretty stinky, 'cause Mom said it kept waking her up. That's absolutely hysterical in my opinion!

Lazy Day

Mom and I had a nice, lazy, stay-home day today. These types of days are the best. I don't know why she thinks she has to go to work.

We went for a walk this afternoon and my leg was only a little ouchy. We played my favorite game tonight, too -- "you try to pet me; I try to bite you." I LOVE that game! We hadn't played that for a while 'cause I haven't felt very good. Stupid, ouchy leg.

Tonight I decided to tunnel under the covers on my doggie bed. Mom thought it was hilarious...I have no idea why. Anyway, she felt she had to keep taking pictures of me. That's annoying 'cause she kept waking me up. Oh, well. I suppose I did look pretty darn cute...as usual...

Using the Doggie Bed for a Cover

I decided to nap under my doggie bed last night while Mom watched TV. I wedged myself between my blue blankie and the bed, then worked my back under the bed. Mom thought it was hysterical. She couldn't figure out why I wanted to sleep like that. I was rather comfy.

I'm home!

I'm so glad to be back home! It seems like I've been gone forever.

My mom hurt her back a few months ago, and I got to stay with all sorts of different people. I spent some time over at Knee's house with her parents. I went to Grandma Pat and Grandpa George's house for a couple of weeks, and then I spent a lot of time with Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Marion.

I really loved Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Marion's back yard! I got to run and play and sniff all on my own. I liked to follow my cousin Hoss around, too. Man, he's a big doggy. That long tail of his almost whacked me a few times!

I'm not sure why, but Grandpa Marion kept stealing my doggie bed at night. He took my blanket, too. Maybe he was just confused. Sure made for some interesting nights!

Anyway, it's great to be back home now. Here's a picture of what I did last night. I was pretty content. Can you tell?
