Aunt Katie had a party for Mom and I this weekend. It was for our graduation, and she invited my grandparents and my aunts and uncles and people cousins. It was a luau party. I ain't been to one of those before, but it was pretty cool. Mom got me a flower necklace called a "lei" to wear. I sorta liked it. I wore it all night and didn't even care that I had it on! Here are a couple of pictures of me in my lei. Pretty cool, huh?
Our party was at a place called a lake. I don't think I've ever been to one of those before. I really liked to sniff around the dock and along the beach. I'd never sniffed a lake before, so that was really cool. Mom took lots of pictures of me sniffin' the lake 'cause I was so brave. The lake didn't scare me at all!
I was a really brave doggie during our luau party. I did get a little too brave, though, and wandered off a bit. Mom got after me for going so far away. I was just havin' fun sniffing! Can you see me in this picture? I'm all of the way over by those big weeds. He he he!
And here I am runnin' back after Mom called me...
It was a fun luau party. I was really super tired the next day, though!
It snowed at my house yesterday. I really don't like snow. It ranks right up there with leaves in my book. It's just too cold, and it freezes my little puppy paws. Brrrr!
Here's a picture Mom took of where we usually walk. I refused to walk any further than this, though, 'cause of that stupid snow. Mom doesn't like snow very much either, but she told me that it made the trees and bushes pretty. Whatever...
And here's a picture of what one of my favorite spots looked like yesterday. The snow makes it so hard to find a good spot to leave my mark. I try to sniff around, but the snow ends up going up my nose. That's NOT cool! Anyway, you'll notice that I was successful in finding a spot if you look closely. he he he! I can't go there today, though, 'cause the wind blew the snow around and it's too deep by that light pole. Big bummer...
Mom brought another doggie over to MY house today! I just couldn't believe that she'd do that. Knee (the other doggie) kept walking all over and sniffing everything...all of MY stuff, that is! I barked at her, and Mom got after ME for it! Can you believe that?! What is wrong with her?!
Mom brought a couple of Knee's doggie beds, too. That worries me. I wonder if Knee is staying here for a while. This house ain't big enough for the both of us!
